Hi, I’m Chloe!
Homeschool mom of three, professional chaos navigator, and founder of The Crate Edit. I started this journey because I couldn’t find secular, flexible resources that actually worked for my neurodivergent family. Everything I came across was either too rigid, too overwhelming, or felt like it was built for an “ideal” family that didn’t exist in real life.
So, I decided to build what I wish I’d had. Tools and systems that don’t just look pretty, but actually work for the unpredictable rhythm of everyday life. That’s where the Life in Rhythm System was born: not just a planner, but a way of thinking that helps families create flow, reset without guilt, and make life work your way.
WHy i built this
I believe every child learns differently… and that’s not a problem, it’s the point.
Learning shouldn’t feel like a grind. It should feel like finding out what lights your kid up and running with it: whether that’s baking, building, reading, or exploring the backyard.
Our job isn’t to mold kids into something; it’s to meet them where they are and help them grow into confident, curious humans. Everything I create, from homeschool resources to family planning tools, is designed with that philosophy at its core.
We donate $1 from every planner to The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project's mission resonates deeply with our core values at The Crate Edit. We wholeheartedly believe that LGBTQ youth deserve affirming, safe spaces and access to vital resources…especially in a world where suicide remains the leading risk for young people. We proudly support The Trevor Project and their tireless work to create a world where every LGBTQ youth feels seen, valued, and supported. Together, we stand committed to fostering love, learning, and hope.
$1 donated for each planner in the planner shop category (digital).
Donations are made quarterly and summarized on our site.

Facts & Statistics About Suicide (From trevorproject.org)
Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young people aged 10 to 14, and the third leading cause of death among 15-24 year olds (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2022). Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ+) young people are at significantly increased risk.
LGBTQ+ young people are more than four times as likely to attempt suicide than their peers (Johns et al., 2019; Johns et al., 2020).
The Trevor Project estimates that more than 1.8 million LGBTQ+ young people (ages 13-24) seriously consider suicide each year in the U.S. — and at least one attempts suicide every 45 seconds.
The Trevor Project’s 2024 U.S. National Survey on the Mental Health of LGBTQ Young People found that 39% of LGBTQ+ young people seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year, including roughly half of transgender and nonbinary youth.
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by The Trevor Project; we simply donate $1 from every planner. To Learn more about the Trevor Project go to www.thetrevorproject.org

flexible by design
Flexibility is the heart of everything we do, because every household’s needs are uniquely their own. As a neurodivergent mom raising neurodivergent kids, I know firsthand how important it is to have tools that work with your brain, not against it. That’s why the Life in Rhythm System isn’t just a pile of printable pages. It’s a structured, loop-based system with a built-in safety net. Even when life throws curveballs (and it will), it’s impossible to “fall behind” because resetting is part of the process.
Every resource I make is designed to bend, stretch, and adapt so it supports real families, in real life, through real challenges.

When I’m not creating curriculum, designing planners, or wrangling tiny humans, you’ll probably find me crocheting, painting, cuddling cats, experimenting in the kitchen, or watching a mix of true crime and trashy reality TV, with zero shame.
Whether you’re brand new to homeschooling or years into it, I’m so glad you found your way here.
Welcome to the community.
Let’s make it work your way, whatever way that is.
